New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole continued his ‘Untouchable’ appearance this season and won his fourth complete shutout.

Cole gave up 2 hits and 1 walk and struck out 10 in 9 innings in the 2023 Major League Baseball (MLB) home game against the Minnesota Twins held at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York on the 17th (Korean time). He showed pitching details and led Ting to a 2-0 victory.

Cole completed his fourth shutout in more than two years after winning a shutout against the Houston Astros on July 11, 2021, giving up three hits and two walks while striking out 12.

Cole showed off a no-hit, no-run pitch by giving up only one walk to two outs in the top of the 5th inning. He missed the no-hit, no-run record by giving up a left-handed hit to Donovan Solano, but it was rather fortunate that the record was broken early. Cole’s pitching content has improved.

After one run in the top of the 6th inning, Michael A.토토사이트 Taylor allowed a left-handed hit, which was the last hit and on-base allowed in the game. Cole finished the game with 109 pitches, catching the last batter, Carlos Correa, with a fly ball to right field in the top of the ninth inning. Cole, who was watching Correa’s fly ball, raised his arm the moment the ball was caught by the right fielder and congratulated himself on the victory.

Cole won all four games he started this season and kept the lead in wins. In 22⅓ innings he gave up only 3 runs and had an earned run average of only 0.95. He strikes out a whopping 32 times, averaging eight strikeouts per game. It’s still early days, but Cole’s pitching content is overwhelming in MLB this season.
