Audi plans to introduce more than 20 new models, including more than 10 electric vehicles, by 2025.
The model that Audi is most looking forward to is the Q6 e-tron. It is an electric vehicle that marks the beginning of new electrification and digitalization of the Audi model line.
It is also the leader in creating a bridgehead to dominate the electric vehicle market. Through the Audi Q6 e-tron series, the company is also announcing the beginning of the e-mobility era at its headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany.
It is the first Audi model to be introduced as a future mass-produced model series based on the new ‘Premium Platform Electric ( PPE )’ technology platform.
The Q6 e-tron comes in SUV and Sportback models. It features an 800-volt electrical system, powerful and efficient electric motors, an innovative battery and charge management system, and a newly developed electronic architecture.
Audi expects the Q6 e-tron to become a model that symbolizes sustainable production, the improved skills of Ingolstadt’s field staff, and the future of electrification.
The Q6 e-tron is similar in size to the Q5 , a midsize SUV . Split headlamps, daytime running lights with animation functions, and floating displays were applied. The driving range on a single charge is more than 500km. It also provides continuously updated infotainment and connectivity experiences.
